VALENTINA STOJKOVICH

Certified and registered Yoga Teacher, by American Yoga Alliance

Craniosacral Therapy and Meditation Practitioner

Valentina is an inspirational, dynamic and enthusiastic Yoga teacher.

Her wish is to access her creativity to inspire and be inspired by those she knows and has yet to know, to raise awareness of mind, body, spirit and the source, and to empower children. She enjoys sharing her practice with her students and is endlessly thankful for the opportunity to be a student herself each time she teaches.

She completed her TTC at the Atmananda Yoga Center, NYC, in 2002.

She is continuously studying and practicing with Shri Dharma Mittra, NYC, and attends yoga conferences and workshops

Her approach to teaching is based on her experience with the practice of Classical Hatha/Raja Vinyasa tradition, Iyengar alignment and Meditation. She leads her students through the challenging mix of Pranayama (breathing), Asanas ( postures) and Dhyana (meditation), guiding them towards the inner source of invigoration, relaxation and creation, and drawing the attention into the now, the present moment - where the body and the mind become free.

She has many private students and adopts her programs for specific needs and conditions for each of them. She believes that anyone with the desire to come to the yoga mat can learn and greatly benefit from this practice, and gain the healing and therapeutic results.

Her youngest student is 4 years old and her oldest 72. She has teamed up with corporate offices in Manhattan, and instructed programs for fast-paced working demands.

She is a vivid Craniosacral and Healing Therapist, as well as a Meditation and Deep Relaxation Practitioner. She occasionally leads retreats in the city and offers weekly meditation and relaxation class in SoHo, as a service to the community.

Valentina moved to NYC from Zagreb, Croatia in 1995. She studied Biochemistry Engineering and was a modern - jazz dancer. She was a dance educator for preschool children. In 1999 she continued her education in Santa Fe, NM at the St. John’s College of Liberal Arts, for Mathematics and Philosophy.

During this period Rima Miller, director of Yoga Moves studio, introduced her to yoga. After vigorous initial practice she decided to move back to NYC and continue with her quest, education and emersion with ancient Yoga tradition.

She is a founder of Trinity Consulting, Therapy and Yoga.
